Lalatabs is a service that generates easy-to-read tabulatures for various music instruments. It has been created, developed and is maintained voluntariliy by a single person. It is a non-profit educational resource for amateur musicians who want to learn playing new instruments, maybe have difficulties with reading official sheet music and can not find tabilatures of their favourite songs elsewhere.

Lalatabs is and will always be free to use, it will never charge users for the service, it does not serve any ads and is not designed to bring any profits. Lalatabs does not sell the content protected by the copyright. Lalatabs as a service, and I personally, respect copyright owners and try my best to be a legal source of tabulatures. I try to reach out to the copyright holders asking for their permission to publish the unofficial tabulatures for their works. When for some reasons that is not possible - the content is still published and remains online, unless I am contacted to remove it. In this case I take immediate action of removing the illegal content.

Lalatabs does not own any rights about the tabulature content, such as song chord progression, notes, artist names, song titles and everything else related to the artist or the song. Lalatabs publishes everything under a Fair Use Policy for educational purposes only. For all the published content, the right is reserved for the copyright owners to request its removal. Lalatabs does not publish any content copied from the copyright-protected songbooks or sheet music. All the song content of Lalatabs is personally created by its users, often picked up by ear.

It is Lalatabs' policy to respond in a timely manner to any notices of the alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that your work has been used on the lalatabs.com site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify me by sending an email to legal@lalatabs.com. Please provide a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or if there are multiple works, a representative list of the works, a description of the material that you claim is infringing and information sufficient to establish where it is located on the website, if possible - a URL associated with that song or tabulature. Response and immediate action is guaranteed upon reception of such a request.

If you believe that your musical work has been copied by UkuWorld in a way that constitutes infringement of your intellectual property or if you feel uncomfortable with a particular part of the content posted on UkuWorld, contact legal@lalatabs.com to get this resolved.
